Kremlin-Demo (2011) Toronto

Kremlin are a new act hailing from toronto canada featuring members of molested youth and school jerks. This 4 song demo reminds me alot of early dc mixed with swedish or finnish hardcore because of the vocal style. They appear to have a few shows coming up over the next month or so with local toronto acts so if you are in the area go see them while you can. media link soon!

Secret Police - Demo 2010

 Secret Police are currently still an active band from New Jersey  with a show coming up in philly with self conscious and others. From what ive heard this part of nj doesnt really have many other  hardcore acts so this must of been some relief for kids from that area. 5 songs fast paced really catchy harsh vocals. id assume that they might have some other releases by now but this is all i can find on them.hope they get on a label and do a record or something . good shit

Bloodclot faggots are raging hc coming outta adelaide australia . Bloodclot faggots 7" is a mess of lofi garage mixed with formaldehyde junkies esque hc . Ive read around that they seem to already have been broken up and seeing where this band seemed to have formed around 2008 2009 area i guess they will be another band ill never get to see. This seven inch was originally a demo tape but go thrown onto vinyl shortly after. Wish these guys stayed together i feel like they could of gotten some international attention with shit like this. slam hard or go home

From Seattle,Wa. They list their influences as "greg ginn/black flag and hate". Really fast angry shit. i think its pretty powerviolence esque. Formed in 2001 and disbanded in 2004 . Real quality shit. Members went on to Walls, Country Club, and Mens Interest .

Omegas are a recent act hailing from canada. they have a real authentic 80s sound to them straight hardcore punk but they totally have their own sound. cant really describe it without making it sound really generic but here we go ....really tight fast riffs .really on point.

MK-Ultra - Discography LP

MK-Ultra was a chicago hardcore band formed in 93' who broke up in 2000(?). These dudes were a pretty sweet outfit consisting of members of crudos as well as charles bronson. After the brake up MKU has continued sending extra tracks in compilations and has then released this lp. I hear there was a one time reunion show about 2 years in chicago ... probably some fest or something. I believe this was put out by youth attack.

Nerveskade- LP (2010)

Nerveskade hailing from portland oregon play in a fuzzed out distortion kinda sound. Based off the sound of the guitars youd expect some dis worship band but this band is alot more heavily focused on blast beats. Thats a breath of fresh air. D-beat is a dying fad. Formaldehyde Junkies- St ep and are a total wreck ep.

Formaldehyde Junkies are a 80s hardcore worship band who isnt very active anymore. Their last show was aparently with career suicide no class cardiac arrest etc. this past april but since they have played in their home city of minneapollis with their new project condominium. Fjunkies for me i think is one of the best hardcore bands of the past decade because they really play hardcore well and have a unique sound to them. Im posting both eps because they are just pure essential. 5 star shit.

The Repos- Discograhy 2003-2008

 The Repos were a awesome hardcore outfit that was from the 03-08 era. Chicago punks doing hc in the vein of ss decontrol, negative approach, and septic death(maybe?) . really aggressive kind of hard to describe the sound. I hear that they are reunited as the ropes making new material. Ill give that a listen and probably review it as well.

Helta Skelta - Parasite (2010)

This is a recently discovered release found through friends. This band Helta Skelta is an Australian outfit containing guitarist Brandon of Extortion. Even though it has extortion members its not in the same vein. It has alot more of a punk sound rather than extortions fast paced hardcore sound. 3 tracks and a SS Decontrol cover. Cant go wrong here. Catchy as Hell

Much Worse- Proper Execute (2010)

Much Worse is fast hardcore group in the vein of 9 shocks terror ds-13 etc. I believe they have a new ep coming out soon on no way records(may already be out ) but this tape is a really great 2010 release. highly suggested.Minnesota always has killer bands.

St. Louis Hardcore. Great midwest band i got to see while in the area for the formaldehyde junkies last show. they had alot of energy live and were also really rad guys. Theres word of a east coast tour this summer which should be sweet. Personally I think it would take alot to top their demo but this ep is still a total rager.

A recently extremely hyped band consisting of members of social circkle,blank stare,scapegoat,anxiety, etc. They have a old boston hardcore sound in a very authentic way.
